Saya Low Bookshelf 150cm
Dark Teak
Crafted from restored hardwood, our Reclaimed Teak Collection celebrates the history of the material. Variations in grain and tone, along with evidence of restoration such as nail marks, wood blocking or small surface cracks, form part of each piece’s character. These are natural features of reclaimed timber and are not considered faults or grounds for return.
The Saya Bookshelves are made with a simple, open design that invites personal expression. 'Saya' means 'I' in Indonesia, reflecting the individuality of each piece and its styling potential. Whether filled with books, ceramics or keepsakes, the Saya Collection is designed to reflect the unique personality of your space. Available in tall and low options, with 90cm and 150cm widths, Saya gives you the freedom to create a shelving solution that works your way, whether styled solo, paired together or with multiple unit configurations for larger spaces.
The Saya Low Bookshelf 150cm is a versatile piece designed to suit a wide range of spaces. Style it on its own, double up for extra width, or pair with the Saya Tall Bookshelf 150cm to create a layered, multi-height shelving system.

Product Care
Our reclaimed teak dining tables and coffee tables are pre-treated with a water-based topcoat, which helps protect against spills while preserving the unique character of the wood.
To care for your reclaimed teak furniture, always use coasters, placemats and pot holders, and wipe up any spills straight away. Dust regularly with a soft cloth and clean gently with mild soap and water, drying immediately.
Avoid exposure to direct sunlight, heaters, and moisture, and never place hot, cold, or wet items directly on the surface.
About Reclaimed Teak
Our Reclaimed Teak Collection is sustainably sourced from salvaged buildings and structures across Indonesia. Skilled artisans carefully select and restore this hardwood using traditional techniques before crafting it into one of our signature Kayu Studio furniture pieces.
Each piece carries its own character, with natural variations such as knots, distinct grain patterns, colour differences, remnants of nail marks, visible wood blocking, or small surface cracks. These features tell the story of the wood's past and add to its charm.
Because reclaimed teak is inherently varied, no two pieces are the same. Product imagery is indicative only, and the piece you receive may differ noticeably from the item photographed in tone, texture, finish, markings and construction details. These variations are a defining characteristic of the collection and are not considered faults, or grounds for return.
