Our reclaimed teak dining tables and coffee tables are pre-treated with Golden Care Teak Shield, which helps protect against spills while preserving the unique character of the wood. All other reclaimed teak items are finished with a standard water-based transparent matt topcoat.
To care for your reclaimed teak furniture, always use coasters, placemats and pot holders, and wipe up any spills straight away. Dust regularly with a soft cloth and clean gently with mild soap and water, drying immediately.
For dining and coffee tables, we recommend reapplying Golden Care Teak Shield every six months to maintain resistance against food stains and everyday wear.
Avoid exposure to direct sunlight, heaters, and moisture, and never place hot, cold, or wet items directly on the surface. If the timber begins to appear dry or lose its depth of tone, reapplying Golden Care Teak Shield will help restore protection and finish.
