Dark Teak Black Natural

The Zuri Stool is handcrafted from reclaimed teak. With its distinctive curved rectangle top and splayed legs for stability, this stool showcases the versatility of sustainable materials and highlights the natural beauty of teak wood.

Material:
Reclaimed Teak

Country of Origin:
Indonesia

Our Reclaimed Teak Collection is sustainably sourced from salvaged buildings and structures across Indonesia. Skilled artisans carefully select and restore this hardwood using traditional techniques before crafting it into one of our signature Kayu Studio furniture pieces. Each piece carries its own character, with natural variations such as knots, distinct grain patterns, colour differences, remnants of nail marks, or small surface cracks. These features tell the story of the wood’s past and add to its charm — they are not considered faults. Read more about the process behind production of these pieces on our journal.

Please note: Every piece is truly one of a kind and may differ from the item photographed.
